Job Skills Training Program
What is the JSP?
The Job Skills Training Program is for underserved women 18+ to remove barriers that prevent them access to education, technology skills and work experience specifically in STEM careers (science, tech, engineering and math), where women are underrepresented.
Technology - Microsoft Office Suite- Excel Certification, Google Suite and other new Tech programs coming Fall 2021
Science and Math - We have partnered with Pepsico to incorporate a project based model in our JST curriculum to bring awareness to science, engineering and math careers
The program provides the next generation of female leaders with their first jobs in a professional setting (or virtual), which will empower them to work towards an established career. These young women are also provided with a sisterhood that inspires women to stand in their power with confidence, and become strong leaders.
According to the National Science Foundation, Black and Latina women comprise just 2% of the U.S. science and engineering workforce compared to 51% of White men and 18% of White women.
