Job Skills Training Program
What is JST?
The Job Skills Training Program is for underserved women 18+ to remove barriers that prevent them access to education, technology skills and work experience specifically in business and technology sector where women are underrepresented.

Technology - Microsoft Office Suite- Excel Certification prep, & Google Suite.

Professional Development - SMART goals, LinkedIn, Cover Letter, Resume building, Sexual Harassment, DEI, Teamwork, Business acumen, mock interviews, & Leadership panel.

Mentorship - 8+ weeks of of mentorship and guidance from senior level experts in field of interest.

A recent study found that women that had a mentor were:

55% more likely to enroll pursue a college degree

The program provides the next generation of female leaders with the foundational tools and skills to earn their first jobs in a professional setting (or virtual), which empowers them to work towards an established career. These women are also provided with a sisterhood that inspires women to stand in their power with confidence, and become strong leaders.
According to the National Science Foundation, Black and Latina women comprise just 2% of the U.S. science and engineering workforce compared to 51% of White men and 18% of White women.
Women accounted for 55% of the 22 million jobs lost in March and April 2020*

Program Details
JST 2024 Cohorts
Our program runs 4 days a week - Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays of general live instruction for 2 hours for a total of 10 weeks. Microsoft Excel training are Saturdays for 3 hours for a total of 5 weeks.
