What's your Vision for 2021?

If you have never made a vision board or even if you have, this is a manifestation activity we strongly recommend. The last couple of years, WEI hosted a Vision Board party in January and although we will not be hosting one this year, we want to give you some steps for creating your own Vision Board at home.

So what exactly is a Vision Board?

A vision board is a creative process to set clear intentions and goals for what you want in your life, so you can grow and transform yourself.

Essential Steps to Vision Boarding

  1. Define your goals

  2. Finding your Inspiration

  3. Mapping your your board

  4. Bringing your vision board to life!

  5. Practice Gratitude

What You Can Use for Inspiration

  • Magazines around lifestyle, home, nature, fitness, fashion, yoga, baby or anything that you have an interest in

  • Look up photos online on Google or other search platform - print out the ones you like.

  • Use Canva to create your own images

  • Use Pinterest to make mood boards

  • Postcards

  • Stickers

  • Catalogs

  • Wrapping Paper

Ready to Start your Vision Board!

Materials you will need:

  • Cardboard or other board you will use for your Visions

  • Scissors

  • Glue Sticks

  • Markers

  • Anything you want to make your board yours!

Display Your Board!

Be sure to place your board in a place that you can see on a regular or daily basis. As you focus on your vision, your actions will start to move you towards the direction of your goals.

Gratitude is an essential part of manifestation. We have to be grateful for what we have before we are to be given more. Take a few moments each day to express gratitude for those in your life and what you have already received.

Few extra tips to make your Vision Board experience fun:

  • Gather a few friends and host a virtual hangout on Zoom.

  • Make it a yearly tradition - have fun looking back on your past vision boards

  • Add textures and interesting elements to. your board so it stands out.

  • It's your board - express yourself!
